  1. 0:00A wedge has both boundaries sloping the same way. That is the whole definition.
  2. 0:05Telling it from a channel. A channel's rails are parallel. A wedge's converge, so the range narrows.
  3. 0:14The rising wedge. Price still rising, but each push gains less. Usually read as weakening.
  4. 0:24The falling wedge. Still declining, but each leg down loses less. Usually read as strengthening.
  5. 0:32The honest caveat. Wedges are drawn by hand, so two people find two wedges on the same chart.
  6. 0:40Check the rails converge, then wait for the break.
