What the Lesson Covers

  1. 0:00A bull flag is a sharp advance followed by a pullback that should be dull.
  2. 0:05The two parts. A steep move up, then an orderly drift down or sideways on lighter volume.
  3. 0:14The tell. Volume drying up in the pullback is the whole signal. Heavy selling is not a flag.
  4. 0:23How deep is too deep. Past about half the pole, the buyers who drove the advance have already left.
  5. 0:31The measured move. The usual target adds the pole's height to the breakout. It is an estimate, not a promise.
  6. 0:39Look for the pullback nobody was interested in.
