  1. 0:00The cup and handle is not really a shape. It is a story about supply.
  2. 0:05The shape. A rounded decline and recovery, then a small drift down near the old high.
  3. 0:15Why rounded matters. A V-shaped recovery leaves trapped sellers overhead. A rounded one works through them.
  4. 0:24The handle. One last shakeout near the high. It should be shallow and on light volume.
  5. 0:32Where it fails. A deep handle undoes the base, and a base under a broken trend is just a pause.
  6. 0:40Read it as supply being worked off, and check that the shape agrees.
