What the lesson covers

  1. 0:00Standard volume asks when. Volume profile asks where.
  2. 0:05The rotation. Instead of volume per day, it is volume per price level over the whole span.
  3. 0:14What it reveals. A fat band is a price many people agreed on. A thin one is a price nobody defended.
  4. 0:24Why price behaves differently there. Thin areas get crossed fast because there is little inventory to work through.
  5. 0:33The requirement. It needs trustworthy volume, and a lot of it, so thin names produce a misleading profile.
  6. 0:40Ask where the shares changed hands, not just when.
