  1. 0:00A moving average is late. That is not a bug — it is what you bought.
  2. 0:05The trade you are making. A longer lookback gives a smoother line and a slower one. You cannot have both.
  3. 0:13Simple versus exponential. An exponential average weights recent bars more, so it turns sooner and whipsaws more.
  4. 0:22Where it stops working. In a range the average sits in the middle of price and every crossing means nothing.
