What the Lesson Covers

  1. 0:00An alert describes one moment. By the time it is read, the moment has moved on.
  2. 0:05Three sources. Some alerts are levels a trader set, some come from a scan rule, and some are an analyst's written reading of a chart.
  3. 0:14What a usable one carries. The level it is read from, the price where the idea stops being true, the objective, and the minute it went out.
  4. 0:24Same alert, two readers. Opened at once, the distances to the stop and the target match the alert. Opened after a run, the stop is further away and the target is closer.
  5. 0:34Who it is written for. A published alert reaches everyone in the same words. It has never seen anybody's account, size or limits.
  6. 0:43Reading a record. The record that tells you something keeps the losers in, and measures each alert from the entry it named when it went out.
  7. 0:53Every alert is dated information, and the decision stays with whoever reads it.
