What the lesson covers

  1. 0:00One stock can be rising and falling at the same time. Both are true.
  2. 0:05The same security. A pullback on the weekly chart is an entire downtrend on the fifteen minute one.
  3. 0:15The rule that resolves it. The higher timeframe sets the context. The lower one is only for timing.
  4. 0:24Where people go wrong. Dropping to a lower timeframe to justify a trade the higher one does not support.
  5. 0:33Choosing the pair. A factor of four or five between timeframes gives useful separation.
  6. 0:41Pick the context timeframe first, and never move it to suit a trade.
