  1. 0:00Change the price scale and your trendline moves. The data does not.
  2. 0:05The difference. Linear gives equal space to equal dollars. Log gives equal space to equal percentages.
  3. 0:14Why it matters over time. A steady percentage growth rate looks like an explosion on a linear chart.
  4. 0:24The practical consequence. A trendline drawn on one scale is a different line on the other. Both look valid.
  5. 0:33Which to use. If the move spans more than about a doubling, log is the honest choice.
  6. 0:41Check the scale before trusting any long-term trendline.
