  1. 0:00Central banks once targeted money supply directly. They stopped for a reason.
  2. 0:05The measures. M1 is the most liquid money. M2 adds savings and small deposits.
  3. 0:14The theory. More money chasing the same goods should raise prices. That is the whole claim.
  4. 0:24Where it broke. Velocity stopped being stable, so money growth no longer implied inflation.
  5. 0:33What it is still good for. Large, sudden changes remain informative even if the level no longer targets anything.
