What the Lesson Covers

  1. 0:00This data is six weeks old by law, and that shapes every use of it.
  2. 0:05The constraint. Quarterly snapshots, filed up to forty-five days later, long positions only.
  3. 0:14A quarter still being filed. For six weeks only the early filers are in. Until most have reported, the flows compare the two quarters before, and say which two.
  4. 0:24What it cannot be. A timing signal. The position may have been closed before you ever saw it.
  5. 0:33The concentration read. Ownership concentrated in very few hands means a narrow exit if they leave.
  6. 0:42The honest framing. Structural context about who holds a company, not a signal about what to do.
  7. 0:50Read the trend and the concentration, never the single quarter.
