The seller with a price and the buyers losing patience
An ascending triangle is a flat base with one extra piece of information. What the rising lows actually say, and the two-touch drawing that invents them.

What the lesson covers
- 0:00A flat ceiling and a rising floor. One side has a price; the other is running out of patience.
- 0:06The shape. Two or more highs stopping at the same level, and lows that each arrive higher than the last, converging toward a point on the right of the chart.
- 0:17Why it forms. The flat top is one seller refreshing an order. The rising lows are buyers unwilling to wait for the old dip, because missing the move now costs more than paying up.
- 0:27The levels that matter. The ceiling, the line under the rising lows, the most recent of those lows, and the height of the triangle at its widest.
- 0:37Where it completes. A close above the ceiling completes it. Below the most recent rising low the sequence is finished, and that low is the level rather than the bottom of the whole triangle.
- 0:48How often it follows through. Sixty-two to sixty-eight. Three touches a side and a resolution well before the apex is what earns the top of that.
- 0:57The same shape failing. Here the pullback undercuts the last rising low before the ceiling is even tested again. The urgency the pattern claimed was not there.
- 1:08The tells. A low that fails to hold above the previous one, a break on structure-level volume, or two lines that have met with price still between them.
- 1:18Draw the flat line first. If it needs squinting at, there is no triangle.
