Corcept Therapeutics Inc is a commercial-stage pharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery and development of medications that treat severe metabolic, oncologic, and neuropsychiatric disorders by modulating the effect of the cortisol hormone. The company markets Korlym (mifepristone) tablets and its authorized generic version, which is an oral medication for the treatment of hypercortisolism (also known as Cushing's syndrome).
