What the lesson covers

  1. 0:00There is no account to recover. Whoever holds the key holds the asset.
  2. 0:05The two models. Somebody else holds the key for you, or you hold it yourself. Both have real risks.
  3. 0:14What irreversibility means. A wrong address, a lost phrase or a stolen key are all final. There is no appeal.
  4. 0:23The seed phrase. A list of words that reconstructs the key. Anybody who reads it owns the assets.
  5. 0:32The universal warning. Nobody legitimate will ever ask for your recovery phrase. Nobody, ever.
  6. 0:40Whoever controls the key controls the asset. There is no other rule.
